Ducati has taken the wraps off the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally, rounding up a series of updates to the marque’s adventure tourer range this past year. The Multistrada V4 Rally builds on what the standard Multistrada V4 has to offer, with a focus on long-distance touring and off-road performance.

  1. Uses a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine producing 170hp
  2. Offers 200mm of suspension travel at both ends
  3. Available in three trim levels

Gets longer travel suspension, larger fuel tank and spoked wheels

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is the latest addition to the brand’s updated Multi V4 range, following the introduction of the Multistrada V4 RS last month. It carries many of the updates that the V4 S brought to the Multistrada portfolio for 2026, with added enhancements to make it a more capable off-road machine.

It’s powered by the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 170hp at 10,750rpm and 121Nm at 8,750rpm. It also features an improved rear cylinder deactivation system that deactivates the rear cylinder bank when the bike is stationary or at slow speeds to improve fuel efficiency.

Like the Ducati Multistrada V4 S, it gets a comprehensive electronics suite, including radar technology that now adds Forward Collision Warning (FCW) in addition to adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection systems. It also features the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system that gathers data from 70 sensors to accurately adjust the cornering ABS and wheelie control. Other electronic features include Ducati’s Combined Braking System, cornering lights, and the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 bi-directional quickshifter, all of which can be adjusted via a 6.5-inch TFT display.

Suspension is handled by semi-active Marzocchi units controlled by the brand’s Adaptive Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) EVO system that has been retuned for the V4 Rally. The system lets you adjust the suspension on the move and also analyses road conditions and riding style, automatically adjusting compression and rebound damping.

Like before, the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally features 200mm of suspension travel at both ends – 30mm more at the front and 20mm more at the rear, compared to the standard bike.

Other updates for 2026 include a larger 280mm rear disc brake – up from 265mm – and a redesigned centre stand.

2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally variant details

The 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally will be available in three trim levels

The new Multistrada V4 Rally will be sold in three trims. The base variant, Radar, features all the aforementioned tech and features as standard. The mid variant is the Adventure Travel & Radar, which adds aluminium panniers and heated seats, while the top-spec Full Adventure adds a street-legal Akrapovic exhaust and carbon fibre front mudguard on top of that.

Ducati has mentioned that international deliveries will start from November 2025, and while there’s no official launch timeline or pricing details for our market, we can expect to see the bike make its way here sometime next year. The previous generation of the Multistrada V4 Rally was priced at Rs 31.76 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and we can expect this updated model to be priced higher.
