2018 TVS Star City Plus launched at Rs 52,907

TVS has launched an updated Star City Plus for the festive season at Rs 52,907 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle features a new colour scheme, a new braking system and more.

Called Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT), the tech is TVS’ version of combined brakes. The system applies both, front and rear brakes simultaneously, which in turn reduces the chances of locking up either wheel and losing traction.

Other than this, the commuter motorcycle also features a new grey and black dual-tone colour scheme. The 2018 Star City Plus also features redesigned dual-tone mirrors.

The Star City Plus continues to be powered by TVS’ Ecothrust engine which produces 8.4hp at 7,000rpm and torque of 8.7Nm at 5,000rpm, which is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

Prior to this, the TVS Star City Plus was updated back in September 2017, where it featured redesigned bodywork, 3D badging and a black grab rail.
