The 2019 Ducati Multistrada 950 S is the higher-spec variant of the standard Multistrada 950. The biggest update on the new motorcycle is the addition of the Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS), in which the semi-active suspension system adapts the damping setting to varying road conditions. Other notable additions include a full-LED headlight, 5.0-inch TFT screen, cruise control, backlit switchgear, hydraulic clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

In terms of styling, the 2019 Multistrada 950 S looks similar to the standard bike but gets a redesigned fairing similar to the new Multistrada 1260. Other visual updates include the trellis frame finished in a contrasting red shade, redesigned alloy wheels and a slightly longer exhaust muffler. Powering the adventure tourer is a 937cc, V-Twin motor rated at 113hp and 96Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the tubular trellis frame remains unchanged.

It rides on Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres, while the Pirelli Scorpion Rally is an option on the Multistrada 950 S spoked-wheel variant. Standard seat height is 840mm, while there’s an option for low seat, which drops it by 20mm. Braking hardware remains unchanged; however, cornering ABS comes standard across the range. Fuel tank capacity stands at 20 litres and the bike weighs 230kg (kerb weight).

The 2019 Ducati Multistrada 950 S will land on our shores next year and will be priced around Rs 14.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
