Like the A5 it's based on, the 2026 RS5's dashboard is dominated by a triple-screen setup.

RS5's steering wheel ditches the A5's touch-capacitive controls in favour of proper physical buttons and knobs.

'RS' logos are peppered throughout the RS5's cabin, including the floor mats and logo projectors in the doors.

Gratuitous red ambient lighting and accenting give off a very sporty vibe.

Sports seats up front get honeycomb quilting, electrical adjustment, and heating and massage functions.

Leather upholstery is optionally available for the RS5's cabin, which can be paired with red contrast stitching.

PHEV powertrain eats into boot space, with the RS5 sedan offering 350 litres.

The RS5 Avant's boot, meanwhile, can hold up to 361 litres of luggage.

The 2026 Audi RS5 has debuted in both sedan and Avant (estate) body styles, and gets a 639hp 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid powertrain. Though the new RS5's interior is largely identical to that of the Audi A5, the performance-focussed variant features sportier design cues, like an RS-spec steering wheel (which gets physical controls instead), lots of red ambient lighting and accents, RS logos strewn about the cabin, sports seats up front, and more. There's also a trio of screens on the dash, comprising a 14.5-inch OLED infotainment touchscreen, 11.9-inch digital driver's display, and a 10.9-inch passenger screen. The RS5 also affords buyers more choice over colour schemes, trim pieces, and material choices for the interior.
