The 2026 GranCabrio update brings subtle design changes, along with feature upgrades and powertrain refinements.

Revised front-end has reshaped air intakes along with a central splitter, which Maserati says is designed to increase front downforce.

Folgore EV visually separates itself with different design for the front bumper air intakes and wheels, and no exhaust tips.

The electrically retractable roof takes around 14 seconds to open and 16 seconds to close.

Digital appointments include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch HVAC display and a 12.2-inch instrument cluster.

It gets a new racing-inspired steering wheel with flat upper and lower sections.

The Trident logo has been embossed on seat headrests.

Maserati has unveiled a mid-cycle update for the GranCabrio convertible, bringing subtle design changes, feature additions and powertrain refinements. The GranCabrio continues to use Maserati's 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine. Depending on the variant, it produces 490hp in the Modena and 590hp in the Trofeo. Notably, the Trofeo's output has increased by 40hp, thanks to higher turbo boost pressure and a few minor tweaks. Both variants continue with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which has been recalibrated for quicker responses.
The all-electric Folgore versions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio continue with the same 92.5kWh battery pack and three-motor setup, with two motors at the rear and one at the front. Combined output remains unchanged at 761hp for both models. However, Maserati has increased the claimed range by 90km to 540km by adding a system that disconnects the front motor when it is not needed, helping reduce energy consumption. The GranTurismo Folgore has a top speed of 325kph, while the GranCabrio Folgore tops out at 290kph.
All variants come standard with all-wheel drive and air suspension. Maserati has also introduced a new 'Country' drive mode for rougher road surfaces, which raises the ride height by 25mm at speeds of up to 120kph.
