Power comes from the Ninja 650’s 649cc parallel-twin engine

It produces 61hp and 62Nm

Its relaxed ergonomics include a low 705mm seat height

At 235kg, the Vulcan S is heavier than the Eliminator

The Kawasaki Vulcan S is the brand’s second low-slung cruiser on sale in India, positioned alongside the Eliminator but aimed at riders who want more power and highway ability. Unlike the Eliminator, which draws its performance from the new Ninja 500’s 451cc parallel-twin engine, the Vulcan S uses the larger 649cc parallel-twin motor from the Ninja 650, producing around 61hp and 62Nm of torque. This makes it the more powerful and relaxed mile-muncher of the two, while still retaining approachable ergonomics with its low 705mm seat height and adjustable footpeg positions. At 235kg, the Vulcan is significantly heavier than the Eliminator, but its longer wheelbase and stretched-out stance emphasise stability and cruiser character over agility. Priced at Rs 7.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Vulcan S sits above the Eliminator in Kawasaki’s line-up.
