Jaguar has taken the wraps off its Type 01 EV, which was previewed by the Type 00 concept. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in international markets by mid-2027, with India set to follow a few months later at an expected price of around Rs 2 crore, ex-showroom. The Type 01 gets a 120kWh battery pack (118kWh usable), and has a claimed WLTP range of 720km. Power comes from a tri-motor setup, with two motors at the rear and one at the front. Combined peak output stands at 1,030hp and 1,365Nm, allowing the EV to sprint from 0-100kph in 3.2 seconds.
