At the sidelines of the all-electric Ioniq brand’s debut in China, Hyundai revealed the Venus and Earth concepts, offering a look at its future design direction in the market. While the Venus is a sedan and the Earth is an SUV, both have been developed specifically for China. With these concepts, Hyundai moves away from its retro, pixel-heavy design language and introduces a new China-specific naming strategy, with EVs named after planets. Production plans for the concepts remain unclear, but the carmaker has confirmed that more details about its all-electric plans in China will be revealed at Auto China 2026 on April 24.
