The Dio 125 is Honda's more youthful 125cc scooter and is based on the same platform as the Activa 125 with some mechanical differences between the two. Powering the bigger Dio is the same 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor making 8.3hp at 6,500rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 5,000rpm seen in the Activa 125. The chassis is largely the same between the 125cc Activa and Dio but the latter has more ground clearance and also weighs 2kg less than the former. 

The Dio 125 is available in two variants - standard and Smart - with the latter getting features like keyless igntion, a TFT dash and also weighing 1kg less than the former. Six colours are offered across the two variants.
