Harley-Davidson has expanded its cruiser line-up with the introduction of the Deadwood, a new factory-built bobber-inspired motorcycle that pays homage to the stripped-down Harley-Davidsons popular in the years following World War II. The Deadwood gets an almost entirely blacked-out finish, with the engine, exhaust, handlebar, fork, wheels and lighting all finished in black. Chrome is limited to the lower rocker covers and pushrod tubes, while Denim Black paint is offered as the sole colour option.
Other styling highlights include a solo ‘tuck-and-roll’ seat, wire-spoke wheels, a chopped windscreen and the absence of saddlebags, leaving the Softail’s hardtail-inspired rear section exposed.
The Deadwood will make its public debut at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on August 7, which is the largest biker gathering globally, drawing over 4.50 lakh riders. It will subsequently go on sale in the US and Canada markets only.
