The Kawasaki KLE650 is the brand’s latest adventure model, sitting above the KLE500.

It's available in two variants – standard and SE.

Powering the bike is the familiar but updated 649cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which now gets electronic throttle valves and a retuned intake and exhaust system.

The engine is housed in a trellis frame inspired by the one on the KLE500.

The bike rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminium spoked wheels with Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tyres.

Traction control and electronic cruise control are standard on both variants.

The SE adds a bi-directional quickshifter, a TFT display, a USB-C port, handguards, an aluminium bash plate, a larger windscreen and tubeless tyres.
