The 2026 Yamaha R7 brings some notable updates over the previous model.

The R7 now features a new 5-inch TFT screen with an advanced 6-axis IMU system developed from the YZF-R1.

It gets minor design changes, with a slightly sharper, sleeker front, and the LED indicators are now integrated into the mirrors.

Uses the same 698cc twin-cylinder engine, producing 73.4hp at 8,750 rpm and a peak torque of 68Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The design of the asymmetrical swingarm has also been updated, which Yamaha says is to optimise rigidity.

These 10-spoke wheels are made through Yamaha’s spin-forging process and are wrapped in Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tyres.

Yamaha says that the riding position has also been revised with the aim of enhancing rider movement and comfort.

The bike is also available in a limited-run 70th Anniversary Edition.
