Unveiled at EICMA 2018, the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 marked the Italian manufacturer’s entry into the hyper-naked segment. Based on the F4 superbike platform, it was powered by a 998cc inline-four engine producing 208hp, making it one of the most powerful production naked motorcycles of its time. The Brutale combined a steel trellis frame with aluminium side plates, extensive carbon-fibre bodywork and aerodynamic winglets inspired by MotoGP machinery. Its distinctive design, highlighted by the exposed frame and single-sided swingarm, remained true to the Brutale lineage that debuted in 2001. The model later spawned several variants, including the Brutale 1000 RR and the limited-production Serie Oro.
