The styling of the 2025 BMW X3 is not as polarising as the past few BMWs.

The illuminated surround for the kidney grille is a distinctive light signature on new BMWs.

The swept-back LED headlamps with blue detailing look sharp.

It gets sporty-looking 19-inch wheels.

It still carries the familiar long bonnet and rising window line of earlier X3s, but the cleaner surfacing gives it a more modern and balanced look.

Size-wise, the new X3 is slightly longer, wider, and taller than the Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5, though the GLC still has the longer wheelbase.

At the back, the number plate now sits on the bumper, similar to the X4.

The distinctive tail-lamps taper towards the centre but aren't connected by a light bar.
