Freestyle previews the look of the refreshed Figo and Aspire that will come soon.

Freestyle isn’t ruffled by bumps taken at speed, and stability is really good.

It’s got all manner of cross-hatch addenda. Increased ride height makes it look more substantial than the Figo.

C-shaped detailing stylish on the fog lamp.

Chunky key fob feels expensive.

Roof rails among the typical crossover-like styling changes.

15-inch alloys look a size too small.

Faux vents on the rear bumper seem an overkill.

Boot is same as Figo’s which means you can fit quite a bit of luggage in here.

Large front seats more supportive than they look.

Touchscreen slick and feature-loaded.

Recess for phone has anti-skid base.

Dual USB points come very handy.

Dial easy to read but just too plain.

Top versions get six airbags.

Legroom at the back is good but the seat isn’t perfect.

Drive it hard on a winding road and you are sure to break into a smile.

Dash from Figo but restyled to house touchscreen. Brown-on-black theme is interesting.
