Royal Enfield launched the Himalayan Mana Black Edition at Motoverse 2025, following its global unveiling at EICMA 2025 in Milan. The special edition variant shares its mechanical package with the standard Himalayan 450 but distinguishes itself through factory-fitted adventure accessories and an exclusive colour scheme. Here’s a breakdown of what sets the Mana Black Edition apart from the standard model.

The engine and chassis are identical on both bikes
Both the standard Himalayan 450 and the Mana Black Edition are powered by the same 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 40hp at 8,000rpm and 40Nm at 5,500rpm. There are no changes to the mapping, power delivery or gearbox ratios.
The Mana Black Edition also retains the same chassis and suspension setup with a 43mm USD fork and rear monoshock, both offering 200mm of travel. The wheel sizes – 21 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear – are unchanged, but the Mana Black Edition comes equipped with tubeless wire-spoke wheels as standard.
The electronics package remains identical, too, including ride-by-wire, switchable ABS modes and the 4-inch circular TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity via the Tripper app.

The Mana Black Edition gets a rally seat, tubeless wire-spoke wheels and knuckle guards
The main difference between the Mana Black Edition and the standard Himalayan is the accessory package that comes as standard. The Mana Black gets knuckle guards, a taller and flatter single-piece rally seat instead of the split seat on the standard bike and a rally-style rear mudguard. The tubeless wire-spoke wheels that are an option on the standard Himalayan also come standard on the bike.
While the standard Himalayan 450 can be equipped with some of these via Royal Enfield’s accessory catalogue, the Mana Black Edition is the only variant that offers them pre-installed from the factory.
Visually, the Mana Black Edition sports an exclusive all-black paint scheme with matte grey detailing. The layout resembles the Kamet White colourway but swaps the white and green for a stealthier finish. Combined with the black accessories, the Mana Black Edition gets a cohesive, distinct identity within the line-up.

The Himalayan Mana Black Edition is priced at Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it Rs 17,000 more expensive than the top-spec Hanle Black variant of the standard Himalayan 450 (Rs 3.20 lakh). The base variant is priced at Rs 3.06 lakh.
For the additional money, you’re essentially getting a pre-configured adventure setup with knuckle guards, a rally seat and tubeless spoked wheels – items that many serious ADV riders would likely add anyway. If these are accessories you always planned to buy, getting them factory-fitted with the Mana Black Edition is the more straightforward option.
However, if these extras don’t appeal to you, the standard Himalayan 450 offers the same riding experience at a lower price.
