The Activa 110 is available in three variants and even a 25th anniversary edition.

Like it or not, for most people in India, a scooter means an Activa, and the bestselling scooter in our country has cemented its reputation over more than two decades for offering bulletproof reliability and genuine convenience. The Honda Activa 110 comes in three variants as well as a special edition celebrating its anniversary, and here, we’ll break down what each variant has to offer and its pricing.

All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Honda Activa variant breakdown

Standard

Ad

The base variant of the Honda Activa actually covers everything you might expect from a humble 110cc family scooter without any glaring oversights. It is powered by the now very familiar 109.5cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine making 8hp and 9Nm of torque and has the same basic frame and chassis.

Being the base variant, it rolls on steel wheels, has a simple analogue display, a physical key and a halogen headlight. Happily, this variant continues to come with Honda’s excellent start/stop fuel-saving tech, which is great considering the very amenable Rs 75,433 asking price.

DLX

Moving up, you have the DLX variant, which brings in a lot of feel-good features, although the core fundamentals stay the same. Here, you’ll get an LED headlight, alloy wheels, a TFT display (sans Bluetooth connectivity) and a USB-C charging port above the storage cubby on the front apron.

However, at Rs 85,335, the DLX variant costs nearly Rs 10,000 more than the Standard for just some frilly features and no mechanical improvements, which seems like a miss.

25th anniversary edition

The 25th anniversary celebratory edition of the Activa 110 is based on the mid-tier DLX variant but gets special paint and graphics, different coloured alloy wheels and a small price change.

At Rs 84,939, it actually costs a few hundred rupees less than the DLX variant upon which it is based.

H-Smart

The range-topping H-Smart gets keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity for the TFT dash and omits the kick-starter, unlike other variants. Tipping the scales at 105kg, it is also the lightest variant in the Activa 110 family – 1 kilo lighter to be precise.

With a price tag of Rs 89,806, this H-Smart version is one of the most expensive 110cc scooters in India and costs more than some 125s too.
