2025 Indian Supercross Racing League Round 1 Pune

The 2025 season of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) kicked off, with Round 1 held at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune. After a strong performance on home soil, BB Racing moves into the overall lead, two points ahead of Indewheelers Motorsports. The Pune-based team ended up on the podium in two out of the three categories.

Two more rounds will be held this season – in Hyderabad on December 6-7, followed by the finale in Kerala on December 20-21.

  1. BigRock, BB Racing, Gujarat Trailblazers win at Pune
  2. Round 2 coming up at Hyderabad

ISRL Round 1 winners

Supercross races are usually conducted on indoor dirt tracks, featuring steep jumps and obstacles. There are a total of three categories in the ISRL this year – 450cc and 250cc for international riders, and a separate 250cc category for Indian and Asian riders. This last category gives Indian riders the chance to not just compete with, but also learn from, some of the best supercross riders globally.

Six teams are competing this season, including two new entrants: Indewheelers Motorsports and Tricolour Motorsports.

ISRL 450cc international: BigRock Motorsports, Matt Moss win

Reigning ISRL champions BigRock Motorsports (fielding Kawasaki bikes this year) took victory in the headlining category with 9-time Australian MX and SX champion Matt Moss leading the way. BB Racing’s Jordi Tixier finished second, followed by Indewheelers Motorsports’ Greg Aranda.

ISRL 250cc international: BB Racing, Hunter Schlosser win

BB Racing’s Hunter Schlosser (Honda) took victory in the 250cc international category. Indewheelers Motorsports scored a double podium finish here, with Calvin Fonvielle P2 and Mickael Lamarque P3.

“The Indian crowd is absolutely wild. The energy here is unmatched,” said Schlosser. “For me, it’s amazing to see how far the league has come. They’re doing all the right things, bringing in world-class riders, building great tracks, and growing the sport the right way. It’s only a matter of time before this turns into something massive. It’s an honour to be part of that journey and to race in front of fans this passionate.”

ISRL 250cc India-Asia: Gujarat Trailblazers, Ben Hallgreen win

In the 250cc India-Asia category, Ben Hallgreen (KTM) took victory, ahead of his teammate Delvintor Alfarizi. Indewheelers Motorsports’ Witsarut Salangam completed the podium in third place. Indewheelers also ended up being the only team to make it to the podium in all three categories.
