TVS Apache FY2026 sales performance
TVS has sold nearly 7 million Apache motorcycles since launch
According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers’ (SIAM) wholesale data for FY2026, the Apache series registered factory dispatches of 5,71,376 units, up 28 percent from 4,46,218 units in the previous year. The Apache range also accounted for 40 percent of TVS’s total motorcycle sales in FY2026, up from 37 percent in FY2025.
Autocar Professional reports that GST 2.0, which reduced prices of sub-350cc motorcycles, played a role in accelerating Apache sales. While the first half of the fiscal year saw 22 percent growth, the second half recorded an even stronger 34 percent increase.
The Apache’s performance also boosted the overall 150-200cc segment, which returned to growth after a dip in FY2025 and crossed 15 lakh units for the first time.
While the Apache range commanded a 38 percent share of this segment, Bajaj Auto followed with 3,68,814 units (up 61 percent), with its Pulsar, Avenger, Dominar, Husqvarna and KTM bikes cornering a 24 percent share.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India nearly doubled its sales to 2,77,657 units (up from 1,40,068 units), driven largely by the CB Unicorn 160, taking its segment share to 18 percent from 13 percent.
Yamaha slipped to fourth place with 2,28,822 units (down 2 percent), comprising the MT-15, R15 and XSR range, with its share falling to 15 percent from 21 percent. Hero MotoCorp ranked fifth with 55,023 units (up 47 percent), led by the Xtreme 160R and Xpulse 200.
