Apple CarPlay Ultra new features explained

Driver's display

Drivers can choose to show information from their iPhone, like maps and media, alongside the speedometer and tachometer. Custom themes, backgrounds, screen layouts and colour options can be selected as well.

Touchscreen

Through CarPlay Ultra, drivers can access both standard and advanced vehicle functions using on-screen controls or Siri, Apple’s digital assistant. Siri can handle everyday tasks like changing music tracks or adjusting the cabin temperature, as well as complex functions such as vehicle performance settings. It also introduces Apple iPhone widgets to provide information at a glance.
