The Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella in India is available with only a front-wheel-drive (FWD) setup,. However, the bigger battery pack is offered with a dual-motor AWD option in the overseas market.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella competitors include the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and Vinfast VF6.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella is being offered with both 49kWh and 61kWh battery pack options, like the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. 

The Urban Cruiser Ebella sports a different design for its fascia, including triangular LED headlights with segmented DRLs. Its bumpers and wheels also have unique designs.

The Toyota Ebella EV features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen, 10.1-inch driver's display, fixed glass roof, powered driver's seat, and ventilated front seats.

The Toyota Ebella EV safety features include 7 airbags, 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV claimed range is up to 543km. 

The Urban Cruiser Ebella Crash test is yet to happen. However, its Maruti Suzuki e Vitara sibling was crash tested by Bharat NCAP in 2025, where it received a 5-star safety rating. The new Toyuota EV is also expected to have similar safety rating.
