Mercedes-Benz's flagship electric offering, the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, is a luxury electric SUV, with a starting price of ₹ 1.33 crore and goes up to ₹ 2.40 crore (ex-showroom). The EQS SUV is offered in 3 variants, powered by dual electric motors with a 122 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. All variants come with a single-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

The SUV is offered with a starting on-road price of ₹ 1.41 crore for the 450 4Matic EV and going up to ₹ 2.53 crore for the Maybach 680 4Matic EV.

The Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV competes with luxury electric SUVs like the BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron. 

Key Highlights:

• The EQS SUV is powered by dual permanently excited synchronous motors that produce 360hp and 800 Nm in the 450 variant, or 544hp and 858 Nm in the 580 variant.
• It features a 3210 mm wheelbase and offers seating configurations for 5 or 7 occupants.
• It comes with 20-inch aerodynamically optimised light-alloy wheels painted in high-gloss black with a high-sheen finish.
• The cabin includes the MBUX Hyperscreen with three displays under seamless glass, which includes a 12.3-inch driver display, a 17.7-inch OLED central display, and a 12.3-inch OLED front passenger display.
• It offers four-zone THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control, climate-controlled front seats with heating and cooling, and multicontour seats with a massage function.
• The SUV is equipped with up to 11 airbags, including frontal airbags for rear occupants, ABS with EBD and brake assist, PRE-SAFE system with PRE-SAFE Impulse Side, and Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC.
• It features a 360-degree camera with Active Parking Assist, Digital Light with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, and a transparent bonnet function for off-road visibility.
