Yokohama has expanded its ‘Geolandar’ series by adding new Mud-Terrain (M/T+) tyres designed especially for off-roading. The Geolandar M/T+ are equipped to perform well in extreme off-roading conditions.

These Mud Terrain tyres are currently available in two sizes, 31X10.50R15 and 33X12.50R15. The tyres also get new dual protection bars added to the design to enhance cut and puncture resistance.

On the launch, Takeshi Fujino, managing director, Yokohama India said: “The Geolandar M/T+ has been built with many interesting features that makes it the best companion to do off-roading with.” He added that the M/T’s twin cut groove design will enhance traction for better overall control while also enhancing surface grip.

Yokohama India has recently inaugurated its first manufacturing unit in India with an overall investment of over Rs 300 crore. At this unit, the company will manufacture its Yokohama Earth-1 tyres.
