Swedish carmaker Volvo has announced its intentions of strengthening its dealer network in India with the inauguration of new outlets in four cities in the next month. The new Volvo dealerships will come up in Delhi, Kolkata, Surat and Chandigarh. The new outlets will take Volvo's total network strength up to 15, across the country.

Tomas Ernberg, managing director, Volvo Auto India said, “Taking our philosophy of ‘Designed Around You’ a step further, we are happy to bring the all new Volvo Retail Experience at four new locations. With the new dealers, VAI is confident of expanding its market share and creating more patrons for its brand. We will continue to grow as we start sales with 15 functional dealerships across key cities, generating a strong brand eminence.”

Viking Motors will handle the Delhi dealership, Autobots in Surat, Krishna Auto Sales in Chandigarh and OSL Scandinavian in Kolkata. All the new outlets will have the entire Volvo range in India – S60, S80, XC60, XC90, V40 Cross Country – on offer.
