Making an attempt to improve its reach towards its car owners, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced the launch of ‘Service Express’ – which aims to provide convenient car maintenance to customers at their closest access.

Although the company already has its successful 'mobile service vans' in operation, the carmaker says that these only focus on providing certain service offerings – mainly break-down services and minor repairs. ‘Service Express’, upon launch, will allow Toyota Kirloskar Motor to provide all periodic maintenance services (minor, medium and major], express maintenance within an hour, wheel balancing, wheel alignment and even an eco car wash to its customers. The company also plans to provide car beautification services and minor body paint jobs under the new servicing model.

At present the carmaker's initiative covers the remote areas of Rajasthan, where the brand says that it has received positive feedback from customers for the doorstep-service experience. The company says customers will now be able to get this service within their cities, avoiding the long-distance travel for periodic vehicle maintenance.

“Convenience plays a very important role towards providing delightful services and ensuring peace of mind to customers,” said N Raja, deputy managing director, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, commenting on this new service offering. “Our aim is to limit the constraints of fixed location set-up of car servicing with ‘Quick Service’ offers at customers’ doorsteps, bringing the best-in-class service experience even closer with these ‘On-wheels’ touch-points.”

"It is our conscious effort to raise awareness on importance of regular maintenance of the cars to ensure safe driving experience. Through our products and services, we continue to look forward to forging ever stronger bonds with our customers and partners,” Raja added.
