Ankush Arora resigns from Tata Motors

Ankush Arora, Tata Motors’ Senior Vice President and Head (commercial) of the passenger vehicle business unit, has resigned, sources have said. Arora will be in the company till May 31st, it has been learnt. Arora had joined Tata Motors from General Motors in April 2013. 
Arora is expected to move overseas and take up a key role in an organisation in the automotive sector.
 
Arora’s exit from Tata Motors comes at a time when the company is preparing to launch the Zest and the Bolt – two new models that are expected to revive Tata’s falling share in the passenger vehicle market. The latest launch was the Aria refresh with a revised price tag of Rs 9.95 lakh.
