In a bid to boost sales of the Aria, Tata Motors has introduced huge discounts across the grid.

All 2012 variants of the Tata Aria, excluding the base Pure LX, are available at a discount of Rs 2 lakh. A few 2011 models are also available with a discount of Rs 2.5 lakh. And, you also get a Rs 50,000 exchange bonus on 2012 and 2013 models. However, all these offers depend on the availability of stock.

Tata Motors also recently showcased an updated Aria at the Geneva motor show, which should make its way here later this year. The updated Aria will come with more power and will see the introduction of a new automatic transmission variant.

Only 821 Arias were sold from April 2012 to January 2013 as opposed to 38,000 units of its immediate rival, the Mahindra XUV500.
