Luxury sportscar manufacturer Porsche is set to open a new showroom in Kolkata on May 30. The showroom will be called Porsche Centre Kolkata, located near Topsia Road in the city.

This is the Stuttgart-based manufacturer’s fifth outlet in the country. Porsche currently has showrooms in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Porsche Centre Kolkata will have a dedicated fitting lounge equipped with samples of optional elements and will allow its customers to configure the car as per their requirements.

The showroom will be spread across 5,952 square feet and will showcase seven models from the Porsche family. Porsche says that this will help the brand expand and focus on the eastern region of India.

Porsche India has been selling its range of luxury sports cars since April 2012. The models sold in India include 911, Boxster and Cayman sports cars, Panamera sports sedan, Macan and Cayenne SUVs.

Porsche India is the official importer for German sportscar marque in the country.
