Renault Duster sketch (Representational image).

Renault's sister brand Dacia – the brand under which the Duster is sold in the European markets – is expected to reveal the all-new Duster at an event in Paris on June 22 before making its public debut at the Frankfurt motor show.

Spy images of the next-gen Duster have revealed that the new SUV will feature an evolutionary design and is also expected to be larger than its predecessor. As per reports, the new SUV is likely to carry forward being underpinned by an updated iteration of the current model's platform, though no other mechanical details are available.

Initial reports had stated that a seven-seat model was also under development. However, later sources denied the rumour to our sister publication Autocar UK.

Under the hood, the new Duster is expected to be offered with a choice of four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

The next-gen Duster is expected to go on sale internationally sometime in 2018 under the Renault and Dacia brands, depending on the market.
