Mercedes-Benz is celebrating 25 years in India this year; and as a part of these celebrations, it has just announced its ‘Summer Care Camp’ for 2019. Car owners can drive their three-pointed star down to any of the German automaker's authorised service outlets between April 15 and May 15, 2019 to enjoy the benefits. With approximately 6,500 customers having used the conveniences offered by the camp in its 2018 iteration, Mercedes is targeting over 7,000 owners, this time around.

As part of the service programme, India's largest luxury car manufacturer is extending a free check-up of the car’s air conditioner, tyres, brakes, fluid levels and all electronic systems.  People who have owned a Mercedes for over five years will be entitled to a 25 percent rebate on select parts for periodic maintenance. Other services, like the ‘AC Spa Treatment’ and the ‘Quick and Clean’ combo pack, can be availed at attractive prices. With the harsh summer already at our doorstep, the camp seems like a good idea for Mercedes-Benz drivers to enhance their ownership experience.

Speaking at the roll out of this initiative, Martin Schwenk, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said, “Indian seasons can get quite extreme, especially the summers, which are quite intense and one needs to take all precautionary measures to ensure the optimal functioning of the vehicle. We are back with our immensely popular Summer Service Camp which ensures the vehicle performs optimally under harsh weather conditions. It is our way of reinstating our commitment of offering seamless services as the most preferred luxury car manufacturer.”
