Mercedes-Benz has taken the wraps off the last special edition of its range-topping AMG SUV, the G 65. Limited to only 65 units worldwide and only in left-hand drive, the SUV comes with cosmetic changes on the outside and inside.

The exteriors of the special edition get bronze trimming on the new 21-inch alloy wheels, the grille and the mirrors. The bronze theme continues on the inside and also features exclusive Final Edition badging on the grab handles along with black nappa leather and carbon-fibre trim.

The special edition is powered by the same 6.0-litre V12 motor that makes 630hp and 1,000Nm of peak torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to all-four-wheels.

The Final Edition is the second special edition G-class to be unveiled before the Mercedes officially reveals the next-gen model. The German brand had earlier taken the wraps off the G500 4x4², G63 6x6 and Maybach G650 Landaulet.
