Mercedes-Benz India today inaugurated its ‘Centre of Excellence’ located within the company’s production facility in Pune. Created for its exclusive customers, the ‘Centre of Excellence’ is, according to Mercedes, a showpiece of modern luxury and creates a new benchmark in luxury car experience.

The ‘Centre of Excellence’ features a dedicated helipad that will be used by a set of customers who want to fly in and out, providing them with the ”highest level of convenience and ease in purchasing their desired specialty car”.

Eberhard Kern commented, “Our customers love to experience our brand closely and personalize it with their style. At Mercedes-Benz we are driven by passion and it has been our untiring endeavor to create newer benchmarks in modern luxury for our customers. Our efforts towards creating customer fascination and addressing increasing customer differentiation for the brand has resulted in the creation of many industry best practices and infrastructure. ‘Centre of Excellence’ is one of them. It’s designed to provide an unique and immersive luxury experience of the Mercedes-Benz dream cars portfolio to our esteemed customers who value our brand promise – The Best or Nothing.”

Mercedes’ new centre will house vehicles like the SLS AMG, SLK 55 AMG, E63 AMG, G63 AMG and also cars like the SLK-class and CLS-class.

Customers will be able to personalise cars with their style using the ‘iConfigurator’, which allows them to experiment with exterior paints, upholstery, alloy wheels, choice of leather, colour of stitches and pedals too. Customers can also take a complete guided tour of the production facility of Mercedes-Benz India.

The ‘Centre of Excellence’ also incorporates segmented wall panels with integrated elements including brochures, latest accessories display and audiovisual display built into the wall panels unit.
