Mahindra Adventure Monsoon Challenge concludes in Goa

The sixth edition of the Ceat Presents Mahindra Adventure Monsoon Challenge saw over thirty Mahindra vehicles cover a total distance of over 650km in two days from Mangaluru to Goa. 

Especially held for Mahindra vehicle owners, the Mahindra Adventure Monsoon Challenge is part of the Mahindra Adventure Initiative that functions as an umbrella brand with a series of adventure and motor sports events organised under its banner. The FMSCI-approved event was held in the format of a TSD (time, speed, distance) rally.

The rally was flagged off from Hotel Moti Mahal, Mangaluru on June 24, 2016 and then made its way to Shimoga before concluding in Goa on June 26, 2016. The route consisted of highways, B roads, as well as rough road stretches with the Western Ghats as the backdrop. Participants competed in the event in five different categories – Open, Challenge, Corporate, Couple, and Media.

Winners

V Santhosh Kumar and T Nagarajan took the win in the Open Category. Wilson Padayattil and Sreejith PA emerged as the winners in the Challenge category, while the Vinay Kumar BP and Ravi Kumar BM won in the Corporate category. In the Couple category, N Raaj Mohan and Chithra Venkatessalu were declared winners. Meanwhile the special Media category was won by Balamurugan and T Vijay from Motorvikatan, Chennai.
