Mahindra has launched a new limited-edition variant of the Scorpio SUV, called the Scorpio Adventure. It's based on the top-spec Scorpio S10 manual, and can be had with either 2WD or 4WD. The Mahindra Scorpio Adventure is priced at Rs 13.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai, without Octroi) for the 2WD BS-IV variant.

The Scorpio Adventure gets a unique two-tone paint scheme, alloy wheels in gunmetal grey, red brake calipers and smoked tail-lamps. On the inside, you'll find faux leather seats with blue fabric inserts, as well as faux-leather wrapping for the steering wheel and gear lever.

The Scorpio received a major update in 2014 which included an all-new chassis, revised interiors and exteriors, but all wasn't enough to make the Scorpio set the sales charts on fire. In the wake of more modern, monocoque-chassis competition like the Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta, the tough old Scorpio isn't as popular as it used to be. The Adventure is an attempt at getting people interested in the Scorpio again, but if you're interested in getting one, you should act quickly, as it will be limited to just 1,000 units.
