Honda launches facelifted Civic

Honda's hugely popular executive car the Civic received the long awaited mid-life upgrade yesterday. The Civic largely remains unchanged but the new S-MT model gets two tone fabric seats with matching door panels. The V-MT and V-AT variants feature a steering mounted cruise control, chrome rimmed fog lights and a new design for the alloy wheels.

Honda's hugely popular executive car the Civic received the long awaited mid-life upgrade yesterday. The Civic largely remains unchanged but the new S-MT model gets two tone fabric seats with matching door panels. The V-MT and V-AT variants feature a steering mounted cruise control, chrome rimmed fog lights and a new design for the alloy wheels. All variants now come with a USB port integrated into the music player and there's a intelligent fuel economy indicator.

On the outside the changes include a slight nip and tuck to the front bumper, a new edgy grill seen first on the Accord, smokey effect headlights and a new octagonal shape to the tail lamps.

The prices of the new Civic are as follows: Honda Civic S-MT - Rs 11.8 lakh Honda Civic V-MT - Rs 12.7 lakh Honda Civic V-AT - Rs 13.44 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi)
