Honda has announced yet another recall, calling back 72,115 units of its flagship City saloon. The reason? A potential power window switch problem in City models manufactured between 2005 and 2007.
Honda Siel India will contact owners of the possibly affected cars and run a “preventive part replacement” drive – free of cost, of course. This comes as part of a worldwide recall, covering as many as 9,62,000 cars, to fix faulty power windows and computer systems.
The current recall is an extension of an earlier exercise that involved the calling back of 8,532 City models in January last year to fix the same power window switch problem. Honda had previously also recalled the Accord in India in 2007.
