This leaked image is believed to show the new Lamborghini Gallardo successor, dubbed the Huracan.

While the authenticity of the image cannot be verified, it was first published on automotive blog site Autofilou, and purports to reveal the 2014 replacement for the Gallardo.

We already know the car will be powered by an updated version of the naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine from the Gallardo, with power being close to 600bhp overall and generating 400lb ft of torque. The engine will also comply to new Euro 6-emissions legislation. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

The car has been spotted testing in various guises in the run up to its official debut at the Geneva motor show next march.
