Ford has launched the Ford 3D Store, an online shop from where customers can purchase 3D printable files of the company’s vehicles. However, the printing will have to be done by the customer using a 3D printer.

In an official statement issued, Mark Bentley, Licensing Manager, Ford Global Brand Licensing said, “3D printing at home is a growing trend, and it makes sense for us to offer our customers a chance to make their own 3D Ford models. At Ford, we use 3D printing everyday to rapidly prototype parts, and now we want to share that fun with our fans.”

The store currently offers 3D printable files and images of the F-150 Raptor, the Shelby Mustang GT350R, the Focus ST and the Fiesta ST. Ford says that other models from its line-up will become available soon.
