Ford has announced that its dealers have reopened bookings for all variants of its EcoSport SUV. Since launch, the company has been struggling to match demand for the SUV, which has received tremendous response. Ford had closed bookings when waiting period had stretched to as far as more than half a year for some variants.

“With 50,000 EcoSports delivered, we have significantly reduced the waiting period and are pleased to extend the opportunity to book the Ford EcoSport to more customers,” said Vinay Piparsania, executive director of marketing sales and service at Ford India.

The Ford EcoSport has emerged as one of the most popular sellers in our market and it has even received nearly 30 awards from the industry since launch.
