Renault-owned Dacia’s successful Duster SUV has been given a facelift. The updated version will debut at the upcoming Frankfurt motor show to be held in September.

Since the Duster’s launch in July ‘12, the SUV has been the main sales volume driver for the French brand in India with sales of over 56,000 units clocked till July ‘13. With new formidable competition in the form of the Ford EcoSport, and some more in the pipeline, it won’t be surprising if the facelifted Duster makes its way here as well.

The SUV’s front end has been updated with a redesigned grille, adorned by two chrome-plated strips and it houses a new, lower-set air intake and new double-optic headlights with daytime running lights. The upgrades underscore the car’s on-road stance and character. At the back, new lights echo the styling cues of the front end, notably through the use of chrome.  Continued..
