Units of the 2018 Ford Aspire in the diesel-manual configuration are available with a Rs 1.25 lakh discount. In terms of variants, the Trend, the Trend+ and the Titanium are being offered with this benefit. However, the discount can only be availed in three colour options – White Gold, Oxford White and Smoke Grey.

The rugged Ford Freestyle too, is being offered with a Rs 1.25 lakh discount for the 2018 models and is valid on diesel-manual Freestyles in the Trend and Titanium trims. Colour options include White Gold, Oxford White, Moondust Silver, Canyon Ridge and Smoke Grey.

For the EcoSport, buyers can avail the Rs 1.25 lakh discount on the diesel-manual and petrol-automatic configurations of the compact SUV. For the diesels, the offer is valid on the now discontinued Titanium Signature variant in Moondust Silver and Diamond White paint schemes. For the petrol-automatics, buyers can avail the discounts on the Trend+ and Titanium (O) trims in Canyon Ridge, Diamond White and Smoke Grey colour options. Recently, the carmaker re-jigged the EcoSport’s variants and pricing and introduced a new Thunder variant to replace the Signature trim.

Powering all three models is Ford’s tried-and-tested 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine that’s coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the EcoSport automatic is powered by a 123hp, 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol unit paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

The carmaker is currently working on co-developing an EcoSport replacement with Mahindra and is expected to launch sometime in 2020. Ford’s India portfolio comprises the Figo, the Freestyle, the Aspire, the EcoSport, the Endeavour and the Mustang models.
