In order to push sales during the festive season, Datsun has introduced a limited edition Redigo. The limited-run model is available with both 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre engine options.

As part of the limited edition package, the car gets a contrast paint shade option for the roof, red and black accents on the body, wheel caps and even on the dashboard. It will also be available with unique red and black leather upholstery on the inside. The budget hatchback also gets rear parking sensors as standard, along with chrome door handles and a unique shade for the carpet mats.

Datsun has priced the Redigo limited edition at Rs 3.58 lakh for the 0.8-litre model, while the 1.0-litre version costs Rs 3.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Datsun will introduce a major facelift for the Redigo sometime next year. The company is also readying a compact SUV for the Indian market, which is still some time away.
