Cartier will host the fifth edition of its ‘Travel with Style’ Concours d’Elegance, the classic car and motorcycle show, at the Falaknuma Palace grounds, Hyderabad, in February 2017.

The Concours is now a part of the FIVA (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens) World Motoring Heritage Year (WMHY) programme, and is listed as a Type 1 event. This year, the prestigious FIVA Preservation Award will be presented to the Best Preserved car.

Manvendra Singh, Curator - ‘Travel with Style’ says “It’s nice to have international recognition for the Cartier Concours, not only from FIVA, but also from our distinguished panel of Judges, who love to return to the event every time. We are proud to organise this uniquely Indian event promoting the Indian automotive heritage."

Prospective participants are required to send the complete details of their vehicle, including model details, chassis number and specific history of their vehicle along with recent photogaphs of the vehicle to [email protected] by September 30, 2016.

Only cars and motorcycles with Indian histories, or recent imports restored in India with documented proofs will be eligible for participation. Also, being held in South India, entries from nearby regions will be given preference.

Simon Kidson has been appointed as the Chief Judge for the event.

Post-war classics - From 1946 to and including 1965  
Indian heritage - Indian-made/assembled from 1947 to and including 1965
Preservation - Up to and including 1965
Roadsters - From 1946 to and including 1965

Motorcycles

Veteran (Vintage) - Up to and including 1930
Pre-war - From 1931 to and including 1946
Post-war - From 1946 to and including 1969
