BMW M2 is likely to go into production by 2015 fall and will be hit the roads by late 2015 or early 2016, Bimmer Post has reported, citing “accurate” inside sources. News about the BMW M2’s likely production have been around for some time now.
Citing these sources the M2 will be powered by the N55 turbo inline six engine capable of churning out around 365-375bhp. Going by these estimates, the M2 will be more
powerful than the M235i Coupe by about 43-53bhp.
Not much is known about the upcoming M2, but it is reportedly codenamed pyrat2, while the model code for the M2 will be F87.
