In December 2015, Autocar India and Maruti got together once again to find India’s best young driver. The seventh iteration of Autocar Young Drivers received more than 41,000 applications. After three months of multiple rounds of tests in 42 cities, 30 drivers were chosen to be India’s safest young drivers. Today, these participants will put their skill to the test in one final round in Delhi.

In today's gruelling day of testing, these 30 winners will be be evaluated on 20 parameters pertaining to safety, vehicle control, theory knowledge and its application while driving. A panel of experts will grade and review their driving and safety consciousness to pick one of the lot who outshined the rest, and he, or she, will drive home a brand new Maruti Alto 800.

Stay tuned to know how this day unravels.
