Audi launches 2013 RS5 Coupe

Updated RS5 comes with a cosmetic refresh but the same 4.2-litre V8 engine.

Audi has launched the 2013 RS5 coupe in India and is priced at Rs 95.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

The RS5 comes with the same 4.2-litre V8 motor mated to a 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox, which is good for 444bhp at 8250rpm and 43.82kgm at 4000-6000rpm. It does 0-100kph in a claimed 4.5 seconds.

The updated RS5 gets a revised front grille, more pronounced bonnet styling and new-look Audi signature DRLs and updated LED tail-lamps along with updated front and rear bumper designs. Changes to the interiors include Bluetooth connectivity for the stereo and minor cosmetic updates. The RS5 also comes with a sport exhaust system and 20-inch alloys.

In terms of optional equipment, the RS5 can be equipped with heated and cooled seats, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, a sports suspension with dynamic ride control and variable damping and Audi’s Drive Select driving dynamic system.

The Audi RS5 will be imported as a CBU.
