The AstaGuru Vintage and Classic Car Auction will be held on November 27-28, 2020. This will be the third edition of the auction, which in the past has seen cars sell for record setting prices – especially in the Indian context. AstaGuru is currently previewing the cars that will go up for auction in Mumbai (on November 21-22, 2020) at the High Street Phoenix mall in Lower Parel.

    • This will be the third edition of the AstaGuru Vintage and Classic Car Auction
    • Options include both pre- and post-war cars
    • Will include marques like Rolls-Royce, Cadillac and Mercedes-Benz

    AstaGuru Auction: third edition

This edition of the auction will include cars from prestigious marques like Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Buick, Jaguar, Fiat, Chevrolet, Rover and Wolseley.

While the auction will be held online on the AstaGuru website buyers will need to register in order to bid on the cars. As always, there is a wide cross section of classic and vintage cars that will be available to buyers both from the pre-war and the post-war period. The pre-war cars include the legendary Ford Model T, a Fiat 503, a Wolseley 11/22 Drophead Coupe and a Chevrolet Master Six.

    Highlights of the AstaGuru Auction

One of the highlights of the auction will be the Cadillac Series 61 from 1948 in a very unique two-door sedanette or fastback body style that features its original engine and drivetrain. Last year’s edition of the auction saw a record-breaking sale of a Mercedes-Benz Fintail and this time around AstaGuru will present a beautiful 1960 Mercedes-Benz 180B or ‘Ponton’.

Other cars that pique our interest are the two Buicks – a Series 50 4-door sedan with a straight-6 engine and a Series 40 C 4-door convertible.

The most modern car at the AstaGuru auction this year, will be a 1982 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit while other highlight of the auction is bound to be a 1952 Jaguar Mark VII that features a stunning two-tone paintjob.

As the auction will be held on AstaGuru’s website, the results and prices that each car will fetch will be open for viewers to see in real time.
