The 2026 Renault Kwid facelift is expected to receive a comprehensive styling update with design cues borrowed from the Dacia Spring EV. Spy shots suggest the hatchback will feature new Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps and matching Y-shaped tail-lamps. The headlights, however, are expected to continue with halogen headlights. The front and rear bumpers are expected to be redesigned, and Renault will offer a new set of alloy wheels.

Inside, the Kwid facelift is expected to get a refreshed dashboard with a larger infotainment touchscreen, likely to be somewhere around 10 inches.  A new steering wheel and a redesigned instrument cluster are also likely to be new. Renault could also upgrade the safety package by offering six airbags, while the updated cabin design is likely to draw inspiration from the Dacia Spring. These changes are expected to make the Kwid feel more contemporary without significantly altering its overall layout.

On the powertrain front, the facelifted Renault Kwid is likely to continue with the same 68hp, 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. Transmission options, including a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, are also expected to be continued.

The facelifted Kwid is expected to have a slight premium over the current model, which is priced from Rs 4.30 lakh to Rs 5.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
