While the test mule is fully camouflaged, the car has been spotted with new alloy wheels. The overall silhouette remains unchanged, changes could be made to the bumpers to keep it looking fresh. Nissan could also throw in redesigned headlamps and tail-lights to the mix.

The Magnite facelift is expected be feature-packed too, and one can expect features like auto-dimming IRVM, an electric sunroof and ventilated seats, which could give it an edge over rivals. That said, the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol (72hp) and turbo-petrol (100hp) engine options are expected to be retained.

Nissan Magnite facelift price, rivals

At a base price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom), the Nissan Magnite is the one of the most affordable SUVs in India along with its cousin, the Renault Kiger. Affordability has been a key distinguishing factor for the Magnite, and the facelift is expected to retain that title. It will continue to rival the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 as well as smaller SUVs like Maruti Fronx, Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter.
