The ride remains firm and stiff, making the scooter less comfortable over poor stretches of road but it is not the most comfortable scooter, especially for taller riders.

The Yamaha Aerox Version S continues with its quick and entertaining engine. Its engine is quick and smooth and outclasses anything else in this price range. The Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S delivers an official ARAI mileage of around 40 kpl, while in real-world testing, the fuel efficiency ranges between 40 kpl and 50 kpl depending on conditions.

The suspension has been tweaked to make the Yamaha Aerox Version S more suitable for Indian roads. However, the difference is small and would be difficult to judge without riding the old and new versions back to back. Despite the changes, the ride remains firm. On the other hand, the handling continues to be sharp and engaging, making the Yamaha Aerox Version S fun to ride.

The keyless system is the biggest addition to the Yamaha Aerox Version S. It lets the rider open the seat and fuel filler, lock and unlock the handlebar and operate the scooter without taking the key fob out of their pocket.
